Saturday. Mayhem. Fanatics. Caramel dancing. Fanime.
This was my first time attending Fanime, and the cosplayers were quite a surprise to me. I did not think that so many people would be dressing up for this event but I was wrong...man I was wrong!
You know those really long super market lines? This was even longer than that. The line to get my pass for Fanime looped around at least 3 times, which took a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to get my information processed, then I waited in another line. While waiting in the line, I watched the many attendees who had dressed up run by and kept wondering why there were so many girls screaming right above me. I never figured that last one out.
After obtaining my badge for the weekend (the weekend pass), I ran strait up to watch some enactments on Stage Zero. It caught my interest until my friends dragged me away with my fingers clawing at the ground in agony. With no avail, I was not able to flee, so instead I played along.

Our first stop was the Dealer's Hall. I spent an amazing 3 to 4 hours in there and I still wasn't done! Only with that time was I able to price check each booth. Unfortunately I had to make my way back here again at a later time where I purched some figurines:

So this leads me into the next area I went to scope out with my friends, the Art Hall. I had a blast talking with the artists here and even more fun finding art that I wanted to pick up. There were so many things that I wanted to buy here that my wallet became weightless before the weekend was up! Luckily, I was able to get one piece of work due to miscommunication with a commision that I had requested.
