Things that have transpired:
A very badly sprained ankle. I'm still on crutches months later.
A move to another city.
Obnoxious troubles with a phone company
A brand new computer! <3
Meeting my nephew! <3 <3

I don't care for the weather here. The bugs are out all day- mosquitos in particular. There are no mountains...
But I've got my nephew.
I never thought I would like him so much.
He's fairly crabby now since he's teething, but when he's happy you feel such unconditional love...
Makes it all worthwhile.

I need to see a doctor for my ankle. While the ER has said it wasn't fractured or anything those months ago- and I can walk a little bit without my crutches- they said I would need physical therapy.

It's been pretty tough even getting my meds here. They don't like to honor perscriptions from another state. Paying out of pocket is more than $1000. Crazy. At least we sold the house and bought a cheaper one or we'd be so screwed right now.

My poodle had some kind of seizure/stroke thing the other week. He just started feeding himself again. Total plus there. Feeding him by had was a pain. I'm glad he's feeling better, but...

My chihauhua remembered my sister as her original owner and adores the baby. It's funny to watch, but she doesn't give me the affection that she used to.

The tornado sirens here scare me. Thank God that we haven't actually had a touch down.

I've been pretty out of touch without internet and only recently got TV. Our phone package rules. Seems strange that I've missed so much.
