So hopefully it doesn't come as a real surprise to you all, but I'm a lover of big guns. Tuesday I was just hanging around with my lil bro and said why don't we shoot the potato gun. Now some of you might not know what a potato gun, or spud cannon is. It's actually a simple device made of pvc pipe. You put it all together and rig up some kind of trigger inside to make a spark, stuff your potato down the barrel and fill the back with some starter fluid and get your gas and mixture right. Close off the back end, aim, and watch that sucker fly. Though we didn't have potatoes, so we used some pears from the local pear tree. Ah she was shooting pretty good, between 2 and 3 hundred yards. My mixture was a little weak, but she performed beautifully as usual. Not bad for my first attempt at a potato gun. They are illegal, but it's just one of those funny little laws...hehehe.

Anyways, with my new job I've been saving up my paychecks to get my long awaited birthday present, that I'm buying for myself mind you. A .454 revolver similar to this make and model http://www.taurususa.com/imagesMain/H_454B8.jpg. It's at the local gun and pawn shop for $450.00 and I've always wanted a handgun. So when I finally became 21 and able to own one I planned on buying it, and so I shall finally.
