I was soooo tired! Renee had a HUGE fit and made me clean up the entire Cafe before I could go to sleep. I collapsed on the broken spring mattress in the upstairs room. I sat there stomach-down thinking. Why did I spend so much time with Zen, yet they weren't able to know? We all use...... wait..... they WEREN'T able to read me mind! I could sneak out whenever I wanted! The idea dazzled me. I looked out the window. It would be dawn soon. I listened. Both Robin and Renee were asleep in the other upstairs rooms. I peeked out the window. It wasn't to high..... I gulped.

THUD

I hadn't thought it would be that cold. I looked around. The frost was calmly forming on the leaves and trees, making it sparkle and shimmer. I walk up to the edge of the forest. I felt weak. I closed my eyes. For a moment, I had thought I had fainted, yet, I was still standing. I heard the wind whistle. It seemed to be calling for me. No, not me. Someone else. I let the wind gently blow my arms forward. It was truely peaceful. I whispered to myself quietly.

"Nature's first green is gold.
It's Hardest hue to hold."

I thought for a minute. I reorded it.

"The first gold of joy is Silver.
It never seems to stay."

I seriously felt like fainting. I Gasped. It felt like something was trying to escape. My feelings, my thoughts, my soul................

I awoke on the ground. There was a small.......... thing..... on my stomach staring at me. I sat up. It smiled. I swear, it looked about 2 inches tall. It looked kinda like this:


"Hello, its about time you woke up, I was starting to worry." It sounded like a little sister.
"Wh-Wh-wh-what?? Who-who are you?"
"Who am I? I'm the president of the united states."
"The what?"
"Ugh..... I'm your Astral."
"My... astr-al?"
"Yeah, your conscience, your mind, your soul, your "internal spirit", your-"
"Ok! Ok! I get it!................ Wait..... if you're my conscience, how come I'm not dead or something?"
"Silly!"
"Pardon?"
"YOU summoned me here!"
"I-I did?"
"Yeah!"
"?!?!"
"Alright Kiko, let's get this straight. I going to hit you with it right now. You love Zen."
"WH-WH-WHAT?!?!"
"Its obvious."
"But- how you know?"
"Kiko, I'm your conscience. You would think I'd know." I stared at the little fairy astral thing sitting in my lap. It smiled.
"EEEP!" I blinked out of my daydream. The astral seemed to be breaking up into the wind.
"Wait! Don't go!" The astral became a little cloud of pink dust. It flew straight into my chest and disappeared. I reeled back. I was shivering. Oh! I'm going to catch a cold if I stay out here any longer! With that thought a snuck back into the cafe.
