Dance Dance the Shadows:
Dance Dance the shadows across the darkned skies I do not know I can not know What in the darkness hides
Deliver me Unto the grave Un'er the hallowed eves And to the ages I shall go Surrendered unto thee
Hope's the devil's grace and sin Beyond the angels light and din 'ere before I wait for thee To the ages follow
From the shadows dark and grim To the earth, begin again Let us spin here, 'round and 'round 'fore we gift us to the ground
The leaves are falling from the bough Red and Gold, Grey and Brown And in the darkness, when we're old From the shadows, nature's Crown
Shadows dance and shadows sing Unto you, our lives we bring Tears as small as Lynnet wing From our bodies our souls doth wring
A smile on our pretty faces Painted on with careless graces Giving up on life's grand races We long for those eternal places.
See the darkened graveyard tomb Of stolen mirth and blackened stone Hear the souls in anguish groan That went to late to their doom
Why wait for age to burden brow When we can go together now And escape the ravages of time And rush to rest so sublime
