1) The Eternal Sufferings of my Winter Soul
I spend my days kicking the souls of the lost people back into the gravel where they belong, and drawing female profanity next to the graphic and somewhat disturbing male profanity on the picnic benches outside the cafeteria of our school. The trees look especially dark and gloomy today. I don't mean to sound emo, but that's just how it is on the east coast this time of year. The water puddles on the pathways to the dorms don't glisten, not yet. They just lighten with the sun, then fade with the darkness. If you were to take a picture of someone here, you would not see their face. No one here has a face, we all keep ours hidden until the sun comes out. It's been so long since I've seen the sun... feels like years. It really does.
