The boss "forgot" that Brian and I were off next week. Brian is going camping and I'm just unpacking / going to the pool / hanging out with my girl who is on spring break. We were going to take a day trip, but that's about it - the rest of the time would have been spent sleeping, tanning, swimming, and unpacking.
...but that may come to a crashing hault. The boss decided at the last minute that this one project has been elevated to priority status and if it isn't done today - guess who isn't going on vacation next week?
It's okay. My girl will sleep in and play on the computer all day, so that's fine. But I was looking forward to taking some much needed "home" time in order to recalibrate.
*sigh*
