Why is everyone so excited about going off to a war? Its sick, and wrong. Are we a society of sociopaths? are we the very barbarians that we seek to eliminate? We certainly seem to be as blood thirsty. Or is there some secret point to it all that I'm just not getting? Is there something about all of these mentally damaging wars that I still don't know?
Is there something about our boys and girls and theirs coming home with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that we desparately need in our society?
Something about this seems to be way over my head. Either that, or I know something that you all don't; We don't need this war, and we don't need the religions its supposedly fought for. If those two things didn't exist, I suppose we'd still be fighting, but it wouldn't be as much, and it wouldn't be as glorified as it is.
Or maybe I'm just stupid.
