For about two years Shay and I have deceived our parents.
Shay's mom wasn't too keen hearing her lil' girl had a boyfriend in California, so she tried separating us. That only hurt the two of us, but we continued to keep in contact and still felt love for one another.
Finally, her mom had moved away and we felt it would be safer to let her grandparents we were still contacting each other. We're not sure if they will accept the fact we are a couple, so we still hide that for now from them. My parents are happy on the other hand.
With our relationship renewed, we find our love has not dwindled even slightly. We still get butterflies for each other, we still can make each other blush, we laugh in joy for no reason sometimes when we talk to each other, and when we say "I love you" we feel it when we say it and when we receive it.
