Today was another one of those sucky work days where I have to close my department by myself. And, just to add to the suckyness of the day, I had to work on cleaning the freezer that my department uses. It's a real mess, but I got it fixed... for the most part... sweatdrop Thankfully, after getting quite a bit of advice from my coworkers, I was able to get finished closing on time again. A couple of weeks ago, I would have been getting off up to half an hour late because of the amount of work involved with closing the department. So anyway, I punch out and head home. My car doesn't like winter roads too much, and easily loses traction on unpacked snow and ice. Thankfully, the majority of the roads on my way home were plowed and deiced, but I did slide a little on one of the back roads close to home. I pull into my place on the street, shut the car off, and head inside. By now it's 10:30. I'm tired and very worn out. I say "Hi," to the family, then head upstairs for my nightly Gaia visit. I start looking through my PMs and notice a gold name in the sender list. "Huh..." was all I said, but didn't give it a second thought. The subject line was something along the lines of "Thank you for your report." I shrugged and clicked on the lowest unread PM. Finally, when I got to the mysterious message, low and behold, it's a response to my hacking report from so many months ago! I giggle a little and read through. They banned the punk what hacked my account, and to top it all off... They restored my stolen items!!! I smiled and responded with sincere thanks and gratitude. Then I got curious. What had they restored exactly? I opened up a new tab in Firefox, and went to my inventory. "If they gave me everything back, and I have doubles..." I said as the page loaded. "Huh... I wonder if I'll have doubles... So where are these returns at exactl..." All thought processes stopped as my hand quickly covered my mouth in surprise. They had returned EVERYTHING!!! Every item that was stolen by that no good hacker was now back! I now have repeating items! lol But who cares?! All that matters is Gaia came through for me, and I love it once more.
