Holy smoking Nazis Batman!
That is where I'll keep my title from now on. Anyways, I think my thread speaks for itself. I was just wandering around on the treads when I happened to see something that caught my eye...
"A Nazi thread? What the freak?"
What also threw me was the fact that they had thousands of replies and all that. I thought I was going to see some really funny stuff, like Nazis trying to support themselves against a raging angry mob. I guess they can pick and choose whatever their threads are, because all I saw was nazis patting other nazis on the back.
"You are such a good little comrade!"
"Ah, no, no Himmel...YOU are a good little comrade!"
"Aw, shucks!"
It is kind of weird talking about this stuff, because for some reason every one is so sensitive about it. It is pretty recent history, and it is one of our most darkest chapters. Think about it: when was the last time you ran into a kid named "Adolf?" That dude must have done some serious freakin' bad stuff to completely abolish a name for newborn babies.
Socialism is the wrong way to go for me. First off, the whole thing about letting the weak die...not a big fan. Also, the whole thing about no religion?...Also not a big fan. However, this is the part that I usually get a little nervous about mentioning...
How much of this bad stuff really happened anyway?
I've followed a lot of news about the war in Iraq and all the public perspective. I was told that once upon a time, you never thought of your President as a fascist, baby-eating monster...but people are comparing Bush to Hitler now...Really? Agree with his reasons for doing things or not, he hasn't really done anything would make me consider placing them in the same ballpark. What if what Hitler did was incredibly misconstrued as well? What if history, as it has been presented to us, is wrong? Well, short answer...it doesn't really matter. At least, it doesn't matter to me.
Anything I know for certain relates to spiritual matters, which I'm certain is something that people don't really want to hear about. Maybe history books will eventually establish some truth that cannot be contended, but by the time it does the importance of it will be long gone.
The knowledge of men drifts just as aimlessly and without purpose as rose petals upon the foamy waves of the sea...
That's enough of faux-pax wise man talk. mrgreen
