It's the weekend!!!
Invited my brother over for a week since he lives an hour away from me. We're going to hang out and I'm going to try and teach him a few things to help him with his drawings. He wants to draw and has all the materials neccessary. He just lacks the know-how-to-get-started.
I always encourage those around me to just do it and don't stop. Just let the imagination go and accept whatever you produce and build on it. I don't like showing them my drawings when they ask to see them because all too often I hear, "Oh, I could never do that." I don't want to hear this because I think everyone can draw.
So, I'm going to help my brother this week and try to get him to connect with his own creativity.
Right now it's morning, I'm the only one up. Yeah, coffee's hot and tasty and my cats are all stretched out around me. TV's on low and FOX news is talking about the incident where a crippled man was dumped on he floor of a police station.
More and more people are losing their ability to show compassion anymore. Those who are able to care for others feelings and consider their well being first, are fast losing touch with these abilities and becoming cold as society gets worse.
It's sad to see but, the bible did foretell of this time and how horrible it was going to be.
On this same note...there was two more school shootings. One on a college campus and another in a I think a driveby shooting. Proof that people are losing their ability to care for others.
I feel bad about this because it's kids that are having to deal with this. I don't care if they're 6 years old and in kindergarden or 21 years old in college and living on their own. They're still too young to be living through the things they are being forced to endure.
Well, my brother's up so it's time for me to go.
