My first question, if you don't count the title, is...what is life? Honestly, do you have an answer to the question that haunts my mind and keeps me awake at night. The very question that makes me wonder if I deserve one. The very question that confuses me upon the reason people fear loosing it so much. If you can not answer me this simple question, why is it so important to you? The unknown?
How can something everyone who is breathing has and yet most of those people can be acused of not having it?
How can something that everyone has to accept that they will loose it be so important?
How come people fear loosing it?
What is so scary about death?
My theory is this, and there are many reasons for the simple fact that people are different.
First, I think that it's mainly because they don't know what is going to happen after they die. Sure, some people have a religion and believe there is something better for them than this. If that's true, wouldn't they accept death with open arms. Accept the fact of sheading their flesh and escape a world such as this to be taken elsewhere....somewhere better. Maybe they are one of the people who don't have a religion. In that case. Wouldn't it be just the same as before you were born. Not having anything. I mean, after you die doesn't your brain shut off. You have no memory and no way of holding one. You leave behind the past and nothing is left for you.
Maybe that thought scares people. Maybe they don't want to leave. If this may be the case, you are just going to have to get used to it because one day it's going to happen. It may be decades from now or it may even be tomorrow.
I may seem morbid to you all, but wake up sweetie because this is the reality of it. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just trying to find answers. Don't live your life in fear of what is to come. Cross that bridge when you get to it. Enjoy the little thing that we call life. The giant mistery that your are a part of because it only lasts so long.
