Yeah, that's right, I got myself a new Bathroom. Sorta.
It's the old Bathroom with a new flair.
I stripped off all the revolting wallpaper, textured the naked walls, and painted it an amazing green color. 3nodding
Not like, DRAGON GREEN. No way. It's more like, a calm, soothing, relaxing green.
I got a new shower curtain, an offwhite color with a brown stripe and a green stripe, and some new towels, a new toilet seat, some new brushed nickel knob-handles for my cabinets to replace the ugly gold ones I had before that didn't match at all, and a new rug. My dad's thinking about putting in some tile instead of the rotten old carpet I have now.
We ordered a light fixture from Texas Lighting. It's pretty modern, you know, a five-bulb halogen job to go above my mirror. It's perfect. I can't wait until it gets in. Until then, I'll have to deal with my old icky dressing room light fixture that doesn't suit anything and has three bulbs missing. Nice.
In unrelated news, I sent in a completed Foamy Card Cult Card, and two weeks or so later, what shows up but my S.A.S.E. who'd been stamped with a squirrel, and a couple of nuts. And to nobody's surprise and my delight, there was my OFFICIAL FOAMY CARD CULT MEMBERS CARD!!! heart What joy.
