my favorite place in the world is the beach.
I go down every day and watch the waves for hours…
I think of all my wishes, dreams, and what is going on
In my life
I think of the past and my regrets.
By the time I am done it is dark.
I lay on the sand
Next to you
I smile and look at you
Your sad smile worries me.
My thoughts darken. As the
Sky shines of stars.
The rose that splits our
Love darkens
With a broken
Heart.
As you wonder why I am sad.
The reason is the thought of living.
You smile back.
The sand is warm and the air is fresh.
The water is calm and the stars are bright.
Its amazing right here to just be away from the world.
It’s amazing how you can actually see the stars.
So many… so bright.
Some can not see the stars.
Your smile reviles my soul,
But my heart still loves you.
The waves calm me a little more,
And the cool breeze shivers my bar legs.
I hug them, my chin on my shorts.
Tears start to fall from my eyes.
For I am in bitter pain from the battle of love.
