as i slit my wrists in envy
to all those who thought better than i
i realized the pity one must fell towards them
to all those who thought better than i

the hate they must feel
the pain, the agony, the jealousy
towards the someone better than them
that came along
better than those who thought better than i

that person squashed all fears
relieved all pain
vanquished all jealousy
towards those who thought better than i

that person was waiting to come out
to show up all those who thought better than i

to show that there was only one true weakness in thier hearts
that none of them had felt before
the feeling of love

the feeling of love bursting at the seams
for all to see

and that is how i showed all those
who thought better than i

until love slips away..
