It was fun too! ^_^ Well... I had fun... my mom got ticked off at my sister, but I'll get to that eventually...
It all started last night... when I couldn't sleep until almost 3 in the morning... Yes, the people who know me are probably thinking 'She stays up that late RPing with me!' But not when I have to get up the next morning... which I had to today.
So, I wake up, get ready, blah blah blah, you can figure all that out...
However, since we didn't yet have the gift for my nephew (Mikey), we had to stop and get it... and first we stopped at Sams to look... OK, if you think WalMart is a place for rednecks, Sams is like a private club for them -.-;; If you can't tell, I really do not like the place... My dad insists on searching the game section (less than half a row) 500 times for the game that my nephew wants (Mario Party 6), and won't believe me and my mom that i isn't there... And guess what? It wasn't
So! We went next door to K-Mart, and got it right away! ^_^
Drove to my sister's house, and she was there with her six kids, and my other sister was there with her two kids, and my dad's ex was there with her mother, and ONE of Mikey's friends came (even though more had said they were coming... *sigh* What can I say? People here are like that *mutters about supposed 'southern courtesy'*
The bought a waterslide!! Not like a huge pool-slide thingy, but a blow up one. Danny (my oldest nephew), Mikey's friend, Sammi (my other sister's 2 year old), Magen (my adopted 12-year-old neice), and Danny's friends (who came over later) were the ones who were on it the most. Mikey didn't really seem thrilled about it...
SO! I played some video games with him and the girls (the girls are my two adopted neices, Angie and Magen), sat outside with Kaity, played with her, then played the new Mario Party with the girls alone. All in all, it was fun! Real NY pizza, ice cream cake, video games... great, no?
Well, next thing I know, my mom calls up stairs "We're leaving!" I was like, "O...Kay..." She was obviously pissed about something... so I went downstairs, and my sister is screaming her lungs out (nothing new... and by this time, my parents and I were the only ones left... I think...) I go downstairs, and my mom is storming off to the car...
Yeah, because my sister made a comment that really offended her. Both of my parents smoke, as do my sister and her husband, and my sister was making a huge deal about the fact that she could smell smoke in her house. Well, my parents and her husband had been outside smoking, away from her kids and house, and... well, long story short, my mom is pissed off and doesn't seem to want to ever talk to my sister again. sweatdrop
So, on that cheerfull note, here's a quote! "Hell hath no wrath like a woman's scorn." That's in someone's siggy, and I thought it was fitting for this entry ^_~
