Random thoughts, blurbs, poems, and stories of . . . ME!
Things that I write. Yay for being emo! Ha ha, just kidding. Emo kidz ar kool. Any way, some people call me 'deep'. Hey. What can I say? I've been known to have my moments. ^_^ And, don't worry, those moments will all be posted here.
Ok, so . . .
In order to get my spirits up - I've been feeling kind of down of late - I decided to go to Malaprop's (local book store and coffee shop), buy a book, and get a Chi latte made with soy milk. Milk freaks me out. Think about it. You're drinking th breast milk of a COW! . . . any ways, so I was in Malaprop's, and I saw this sketch book. Now, most of you know I draw. Avidly. If you don't, well, you should. But I don't own a sketch book, I just carry a bunch of papers around with me 'cause I'm gangster like that. :] So there it is, the goddess of all sketch books. Made from recycled paper and cloth - perfect for ink and water colors. It's red and black with gold swirlies on it, and there's this beam of light coming down from the heavens and the angels are singing, and there is peace and harmony in the world. And I'm drooling over it by this point. So I reach out for it, and I touch it. It's like . . . like . . . imagine stroking Johnny Depp's face. Now, take that feeling, and multiply it by infinity plus one. That's how it felt. So I turn it over to look at the price, and . . . It's $30. Thirty big ones. Green backs. Bucks. Dollars. Mulah-mulah. I don't care what you call it. It was THIRTY FRICKIN' DOLLARS!!! I could feed a small village in China with that. Though, i guess using 'small' and 'China' in the same sentence is oxymoronic (is that even a word? If not, it should be). But come on! Jaysus. It's the season of giving, of charity, of - and then it hits me. Parents. The parental units have money enough to buy me presents. Bingo! Jack pot! Ding ding ding! I haven't asked for anything from my parents for 'Christmas' - we're Pagan/Jewish/Christian/what ever the hell else you wanna put in there - in three years. So. I'm planning on getting the goddess of sketch books this Christmas. How about you?
This is my signature. It's very interesting. Be afraid.
