"I can't believe that this is what I live on...." Hideko muttered to himself, looking down at the weeks supply of self-heating noodle cups he had just bought. Dragging himself through town, he passed by the airport. Lazily glancing around, he saw something that caught his eye. A rather attractive woman had just disembarked from what looked like a private jet. "Just another celebrity..." he scoffed. However, looking back, he saw that she didn't have the usual crowd of fans and paparazzi following her. Dropping his bag on a nearby bench, he pulled out his data-glasses and saw that his initial suspicions were correct. She didn't have the constant flow of meaningless data flowing around her. Instead there seemed to be the exact opposite. There was in fact a strange absence of data...."Interesting..." he said to himself. He tagged her with an identifying mark on his glasses, picked up his bag, and began picking his way through the crowd back to his apartment.

Though she had never been to this city before, she found it rather easy to find her way around. There were signs all over, and having become versed in quite a few languages, she could read them. Since she already knew where she wanted to stay, she need only glance at one every now and then to make sure she was still on the right course. Positive that she was, she wouldn’t even pause as she went about her business. Nobody gave her trouble either, of which she was very thankful.
Reaching the hotel, she entered as normally as if she were just another tourist. Albeit, maybe of a bit higher class than most, but still one none the less. Going to the counter, she booked a room and was given the key. Making her way up the stairs, she commenced in finding her room. Upon coming across it, she waved the key card she’d been given over the correct panel before going inside and listening to the click of the lock going back into place as she closed the door. Dropping her bag to the floor next to the wall closest to the bed, she then fell back upon the mattress and closed her eyes. Perhaps she could fit in a tiny nap before things got too extremely hectic…
