hello to the outcast girl

Sitting in the back,
hood hanging over her face,
writing in a little book with a red pen,
hair messy and sticking out from around her face,
the girl you've never bothered to notice,
shades in hearts she's drawn around your name,
she's quiet and shy,
you know her name but don't invite her to talk with you,
she stares at you when you're not aware,
and when you look at her,
she acts like she's not there,
you don't know what she's into,
wether it's music or fashion,
she's not like the other girls you know,
she doesn't wear make up everyday of her life,
she refuses to wear the bright colors girls around her wear,
her shoes are sneakers rather than high heels,
her pants are ripped and baggy,
instead of tight and fitted,
her shirts are cute but hidden under a big hoodie,
you would think she's a punk or a skater,
but her feelings are those of a preppy cheerleader and a puppy,
you never try to find out what she's like,
and it kills her inside when she's waiting to make a move closer to you,
but the scars on her heart prevent her from passing the line between you two,
so it's up to you,
you need to tell her about yourself,
you need to include her,
you need to ask her questions about herself,
it's all you,
you need to say hello to the outcast girl.
