And now I shall tell you why I am obsessed with Kingdom Hearts (all of these are true of me, and of course you don't have to read all of them, lol!) Oh and I say I cry a lot, that's kind of exaggeration just because I was hyper when I wrote it lol. So. You are obsessed with Kingdom Hearts if:
Your dream wedding ring has, not a diamond, not any gem, but a paopu fruit on it.
This one time, at band camp, you spray paint a little smiley face on your water cooler, and, after long, deliberate thought, you name it Demyx Coleman. Then you marry him and have two kids, Roxas and Namine (twins). (Okay, so I printed a picture of Roxas and Namine out on paper for Spanish class, when we had to make puppets. xD)
You want the Hikari and Passion KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental Versions to be played at your funeral. 0.o
You go up the Eiffel Tower in New York City, buy a little key, and proclaim to everyone in the room that you have just found the key to the city, and will now proceed searching for the keyhole, to save NYC from darkness. Then, you almost cry when you lose it, and when you find it again, squeal and run around the blocks pointing it at stuff. And you never go anywhere without it.
Almost every single one of your life goals has to do with Kingdom Hearts. Like a KH store, a KH ice cream truck, a KH theme park, a KH house, a KH voiceover, a KH radio station, a J-pop radio station featuring Utada Hikaru, a KH house, KH cosplay...
You have started to use the word "paopu" as a swear word. "Oh, paopu!"
At your wedding, you want to share paopu fruit with your new husband.
You do not wonder, "Who will I marry?" but "Who will I share a paopu fruit with?"
You find a clean space of cardboard in the store and write a random KH quote on it.
You and any other obsessive fans on your color guard team campaign strongly for next year to be a Kingdom Hearts show. You plan everything out...who will be which character, how you'll get the costumes...only to find out it's a no go, and you cry.
You go to the Disney store and yell at the clerk for not having Kingdom Hearts stuff, but then you see Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 there, and you squeal like crazy, and then you get mad again because they don't have Chain of Memories, even though you already have all three games. then you go home and immediately start plans for a new floor to be added to the Disney store, devoted entirely to Kingdom Hearts, including pictures with the characters.
You hum Kingdom Hearts songs during class.
You try to play every single Kingdom Hearts song on the piano even though you suck at playing it, and you can play Dearly Beloved, Kairi, Missing You, and a couple other songs.
Whenever you see the video game section in the store, you go over to it, and the first thing you look for is Kingdom hearts, and when you find it you squeal, and lean up against the glass, or if there is no glass you pick it up and carry it around with you, hugging it, until the clerk takes it away from you. Then you talk the clerk's ear off about KH3 and what everybody's saying, and make him check when it will be out even though you know it's not even officially announced yet.
You memorize the names of songs, even boring ones like "Hesitation" and "Villains of a Sort."
You go through the soundtrack, testing your kh knowledge by naming each song and where it occurs.
You try to sing Kingdom Hearts songs even if they have no words.
You call people lazy bums and then you tell them that you thought they were snoozing down here.
You put your hand on a friend's shoulder and tell them solemnly that they make you feel like you have a heart.
You make up a unique dance for every character.
when around strangers or in a public place (especially amusement parks) you talk loudly about Kingdom Hearts and quote it.
One of the first things you ask a new friend is "Do you like Kingdom Hearts?"
You almost burst into tears trying to convince a sibling that Riku is not ugly, how could you think that??
You have the scripts to each game saved on your computer and sometimes read them for fun if you don't have the games handy.
You link the most random things to Kingdom Hearts. (cannot remember any specific examples at the moment)
You draw KH pictures and write KH quotes on your tests at school before you turn them in.
You deny your obsession to your parents, afraid they'll forbid you to play the game anymore.
You spend your time thinking of the most random KH pairings.
You wish you could paint your room with KH stuff.
You make a haiku for each character.
You make a list of all the original characters in Kingdom Hearts.
You randomly give yourself pop quizzes where you have to list all the Organization XIII members. Your notebooks are filled with numbers from 1 to 13 and their names in varying order.
You love the voice actors even though you have no idea who they are.
You prefer no-word music to worded music.
You don't get tired of a new soundtrack for a year, playing it 24/7. So how many hours is that?
Your KH obsession pushes aside a five-year FFX obsession.
You draw various forms of moogles (Pillsbury, color guard, cheerleader, etc.)
You know what every character's name means but still get mad when they're not in the everday baby names book.
You squeal like crazy when you first find out the secret of the Organization XIII names.
You make up Organization XIII names for all and sundry.
You listen to the theme songs backward and then you want to say everything backward.
You cry when you can't decide who's better: Riku or Sora.
Your tiny locker is covered with KH stuff even though no one ever looks at your locker.
You write a narrative about how you first came to love KH, and the way you introduce it (as in title and first paragraph), at first people think it's about your boyfriend.
You want to show your parents all the KH pictures and parodies you found even though they don't know (or care) anything about it.
You feel like you're going to explode if you haven't talked to other obsessed people lately.
You cry, wishing all the hearts the heartless release would go back to their original owners.
Every time you play the game and something bad is about to happen, you scream in your head "No, Riku! Don't do it!" or something of the sort and have some hope that now that you know ahead of time how to stop it it might not happen this time through.
The only thing that can make you cry is Kingdom hearts. And you cry about everything in Kingdom Hearts.
One of your pet peeves is when people call it "Kingdom of Hearts."
You run around your house when no one's home while your KH soundtrack is playing, pretending to be in KH and doing whatever fits the music playing. And that means actually jumping around falling down, whatever, and talking aloud too.
You run around with a stick killing imaginary heartless.
You imagine having conversations with the characters.
The first thing that pops into your head for any writing assignment is "Kingdom Hearts!"
You're a fangirl...of 2 guys at once...and some are pretty close to getting your fangirlism. biggrin
You randomly break into KH roleplay with your friends.
You gasp and cry when someone insults the game.
You wonder what the characters would think of you and go crazy with not knowing.
You fight Sephiroth just to beat him...not for any material rewards.
You stay up late trying to beat something...or just because you didn't wanna stop.
You cry when someone ruined your turn for you and made it so you couldn't play. (okay this isn't an exaggeration it happened once lol 0.o )
You want to watch the ancient movie "Tron" just because it was in Kingdom Hearts 2.
You make fancomics with stick figures. All the time. biggrin
You cry when someone erases your file...even if it's only 1 hour of playtime. Then you try to beat them up with your little keyblade. smile
You walk around the streets of New York City, or maybe just Kmart, walking like Sora (with big steps and big clunky feet) and "doo"-ing the Traverse Town song. ("doo"-ing a song is when you sing it going "doo doo doo doo doo" just in case you didn't quite get that xD )
You've memorized the intros to both games, Kairi's letter to Sora, and the ending of the first game.
You are constantly writing Kingdom hearts quotes on your algebra teacher's blackboards, with elaborate frames around them, and then you draw moogles and make your classmates guess what they are, and then you get mad when they say they look like pigs.
You grind your teeth to the rhythm of KH songs when your brother tells you to shut up and stop singing or humming.
You have five notebooks full of KH crap.
You can't resist drawing KH characters even though you suck at it.
You have started a collection of KH merchandise.
On Youtube, you look up practically everything as KH stuff. Even when you just want to listen to a certain song you try to see if they have a KH movie to it. (e.g. "Stand In the rain kingdom hearts" xD )
You have an entire folder on your computer for Kingdom Hearts pictures...and even that folder is bulging.
You would SOOO go to school dressed as a character.
You argue that nobodies DO have feelings and you hate Sora for insensitively killing them off, even though he is really cute.
You get mad when people say the characters are gay.
But then you get sucked in and become obsessed with KH yaoi and yuri.
You try to find out Organization XIII's "true names."
You've declared Sanctuary as your theme song.
You frequently add "Got it memorized?" to the end of your sentences.
All through Fergie's "Fergalicious" song you are saying "got it memorized?" after the spelling parts.
You listened to Passion so much that, before ever seeing the lyrics, you could sing everything, not knowing what it meant.
You walk around with an air guitar going "DANCE WATER DANCE!"
You put yourself in your KH fanfics.
You want to name your kids after KH characters.
You tell everyone that a Kingdom Hearts character is yours and to back off.
Whenever you get to Passion -after the battle- on your mp3 player/iPod, you play it repeatedly until you force yourself to move on, afraid that the song might get old eventually.
You cry for everybody at their sad parts (Riku, Axel, Demyx, Roxas, even Ansem the Wise lol)
You doodle Kingdom hearts pictures during class.
Friends who haven't played the game know the characters.
All profiles on the internet are covered with Kingdom hearts.
You came up with your own Organization XIII name. (mine's Nilasyx lol)
You lie awake often at night pretending you are in Kingdom Hearts.
You sing the theme songs loudly at school.
You want to buy a keyblade (along with ALL merchandise out there! muahahaha!)
You spend all of one day making sea-salt ice cream, and all the next eating it.
Kingdom hearts is ALL you think about 24/7.
You write fanfics. (I have three if you count the comic biggrin )
You go nuts over finding a starfruit in a store.
You've played the game zillions of times but you're not tired of it.
You wish you had a pet Shadow.
You want to dress up as a character for Halloween.
You have all the soundtracks and they're on your iPod/mp3 player.
You have your own Kingdom Hearts character and have inserted them into the story, and have their endings all set too.
Wow! lol I never knew I was this obsessed! xD
