This is kinda late, I know. But I've just realized that I didn't tell you wonderful people about it.
While we were waiting, me and my friends saw this dude run from the bar towards the trash can, barfing halfway there, then barfing into the trash. He wiped off his mouth on his sleeve and kept drinking as he made his way to the bar again, stepping in his own barf. Keep in mind this was before the concert even began! My one friend, Taylor, told me to get on my back and he'd carry me around, but when I did, he nearly dropped me headfirst onto the ground. We laughed at him because my other friend Nichole could pick me up and NOT drop me, which is actually really funny.
It started out with New Years Day, which was awesome, because they were dressed up like skeleton things and they sound amazing! You should definitely listen to them if you haven't already.
Amber Pacific played second. They were pretty good too, but they didn't wear any costumes. |:-
Hawthorne Heights was awesome, as can be expected, but they didn't wear any costumes either. At one point in one of their songs, one of the guitarists switched places with another dude, then took his mike and literally sat on a throne of people's hands by the front of the stage. My friends and I made our way to the very middle of the whole crowd while they were playing which was perfect since Red Jumpsuit played after them.
This one dude in front of us, who was totally wasted, took one look at ikeeledyou and said "I like your horns.", because she was the devil. He continued doing it like every five minutes. Then this other dude, who we started talking to, yelled and waved somebody over, hitting me in the head during the process. Then he was like. "I'm so sorry." He gave me a hug and then kissed me on the head. I stood like a piece of marble thinking 'Holy s**t. This is kinda awkward.....I'm being hugged and kissed by some dude I don't even know...again...awkward.' Then it got really hectic.....dundundun.....WE GOT STUCK BETWEEN TWO DIFFERENT MOSH PITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was crazy! All three of us fell on the floor of the mosh pit. While Drunkity McDrunk Drunk helped my friend Nicky off the floor, I had twenty dudes crotches shoved in my face, which wasn't very great...anyway, Nicky grabbed me up and I grabbed Dani. Then we moved towards the front more, but kinda off to the left a bit so we weren't in the middle of the mosh anymore. We met our friends from school here and stayed with them the rest of the time.
RJA played last, of course. They all came out dressed like superheroes and stuff, it was fawesome.One friend went crowd surfing while RJA was playing. One minute you saw her flying through the air, the next, she was falling towards the ground headfirst. Thankfully she rolled and didn't hit her head on the ground. One person had their phone in their pocket while crowd surfing and it fell, which was funny to watch. I actually went crowd surfing for the first time and it was ******** fawesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taylor and some other dudes helped me up and I ended up on the ground all the way on the other side of the crowd, so I had to work my way through again. I guess while I was surfing, Taylor landed on Nicky's head, and she was wearing my glasses, so he almost broke them, not that I'd care much. Then I'd have an excuse to actually get my new ones I've been needing. Then we jumped around for a while. I crowd surfed again later, again landing on the other side after almost being thrown over the bouncers' heads. At the end, I said bye to everybody and left with Nicky and Dani. We walked out and saw an ambulance loading a stretcher with somebody on it. Oh and some chick landed on me, making me fall while she was crowd surfing.
Overall, it was a ******** amazing concert! Now I'm super excited about going to the A7X concert in December. And for anybody who's played Guitar Hero 2, I get to see Reverend Horton Heat on my birthday. How fool is that? And what an odd coincidence.
