alright.
I know that alot of my friends, &&people of this nation today don't think too much about the illness, ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.
As well as thinking that it's not a big deal at all. They are dead wrong.
So I thought I would share with everyone who takes the time to read these to just try &&understand what I &&five percent of the American population go through.
ADHD.
When most people hear this word they would most likely think: untrustworthy, hopeless, attention seeker, too rowdy, uncontrolling.
No. I hate it when people think that or especially when they ask me: "I'm really hyper do you think I might have ADHD???"
It just doesn't happen like that! That's not how it works. Sorry.
I never really thought deep on how the whole ADHD thing worked or anything about it except that I had it.
Well, recently I've been studying up on ADHD &&what it does for the people who are told that they have this disease.
ADHD. How did you get it???
Well. It can be passed genetically &&that's what most people consider as the cause of it. Yet, there are other ways.
Drinking, drugs, smoking can cause your kidd to have ADHD. Before she even got fertile. Or even having smoke from any kind of drug infront or exposed to a infant can cause this as well.
The worst way, to me, that a child may get ADHD is head &&brain trauma/damage. It is in fact a disorder from the brain. If there were problems with the birth the child may have ADHD. If the child was harmed in the head at a young age they may get ADHD.
ADHD. How do you know you have it???
You don't. &&that my friend is the scariest feeling of it all.
But there are some ways to tell: very poor impulsive control distracted real easily willing to give up early the feeling of unimportance &&failure depression uncontrolled thought patterns bipolar symptoms giant mood swings uncontrolled &&random violent nature
I have experienced all of the above &&I've had friends witness it as well.
If you have these symptoms it doesn't always mean that you have ADHD. I didn't know I had it but my mother set up an appointment. If you feel like you might have it then just go &&have them check you.
Yet, if you're faking. You aren't worth taking the pills that some kidd desperately needs because he's having problems controlling himself.
ADHD. Any other things we should know about???
Yes. Here are some random facts that I have researched.
Out of all the people that commit suicide, people who have ADHD are the most common among them.
Parents suffer as well. Especially with the emotional abuse along with physical.
No. We cannot control this. It's extremely hard. I have to admit that I blame a good bit of my life on this ghastly disorder yet there is nothing I can do to stop it.
When some people say that kidds are using this as an excuse to get by easy. You. Should. Die. I've suffered enough through this not even knowing what the hell was wrong with me. I was scared for my education &&for my sanity.
if you don't believe me than that's your own problem.
Just be careful. It's much harder &&more complicated then most think.
