Paradox
So she said, "I don't love you anymore"
And I thought, funny, that's quite the paradox:
If you can fall in and out so easily
Is it ever really love to begin with?
How can you tell what love really is
If you claim love is eternal
And don't love forever?
What is your goal, dubious lover?
What kind of game do you think this is?
You moving on oh, so quickly
While I can't get you out of my mind?
It's funny how we don't want to be hurt
And so put ourselves in the way of pain.
I think it's a strange little paradox.
But that's really all love is, don't you think?

But extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
