Acting
I sat on my bed reading Pride and Prejudice while Edward played the baby grand piano in my living room. I tried to focuse on my book but the music that drifted into my room was so beautiful, it was hard to think about anything else. So I got up and looked for something for both me and Edward to do together. I grabbed my favorite version of the movie Pride and Prejudice and walked out into the living room, put it in the player and went to sit on the couch.
When I turned around, Edward was already sprawled across the couch, his arms open and waiting for me. I layed down in his arms and he craddled me as the movie played.
We had a ritual while watching movies like these of me doing the girl's lines and he doing the boy's so I was Elisabeth Bennet and he was Mr. Darcy as we acted it out through our voices and not our actions most of the time. Although sometimes we found ourselves starring at each other while we recited the movie.
At the end when Elisabeth and Mr. Darcy are married, Edward sat me up into the same postion Elisabeth was in so we could mirror this part. I smiled at him. As he spoke the next line.
"And what am I to call you when I'm cross? Mrs. Darcy", he asked, his voice making the line much more beautiful.
"No. You may only call me Mrs. Darcy when you are most happy", I said, stoking his hand gently.
Then he kissed me on the cheek my chin my eyelids the tip of my nose then finally on my lips each time saying "Mrs. Darcy"
