It was the grade 11 biology trip and some of us in the grade 12 chemistry class went along too since they really wanted to go. I, of course, went because I just wanted to skip school and it would be fun.
The grade 11's had to work on worksheets, and us grade 12's got the worksheets too, but didn't bother working on them since we're not getting marked. Our teacher did however assigned us work. She told us a chemstry joke, and then told us we had to come up with 2 chemistry jokes at the end of the trip. Her joke was:
Why don`t polar bears like waterÉ
Because it was polar. (If you know anything about polarity then you would understand)
At the zoo, we saw...
- orangutans - 2 of them were hiding under a blanket they covered themselves with, and another orangutan was swinging around on bars
- a giant atlas beetle - it was HUGE!!!
- tigers - they were sooo cute! 2 baby cubs, Jake and Coco, playing around. There were other tigers too, but my favourites were the tiger cubs
- a bunch of animals that were just lying around being lazy
We missed a bunch of the good ones. We didn't get to see the bears or the kudo (which is apparently a giant anteater, and was the best part according to Ani). It was all because we got stuck in Africa part and couldn't go into Australia, which was closed for the season.
We also went into the Discovery kids section, lol.
We pet the goats, played in some of the little activities, and took many pictures.
I forgot to bring my camera, so Victor and Cassie took all the pictures and put them on facebook.

When I got home from work after the zoo, I got a new laptop. Mom got it for me when it was on sale, so now I have to pay her back. She's gona pay for the rest of the stuff for it, internet and stuff.
On Saturday, I had to work the morning shift, then left at around 1pm when Cedric came in to fill in for me, and went to see my friends perform in the play Dracula. It was good.
Cedric wanted me to get back to work at 5pm, 1 hour before closing since he had to go somewhere, and I thought there was no point in that, then he tells me that he wants me to get back at 4pm, so I told him 4:30 and no earlier. I got back at around 4:15pm and he left. I finished off the day at work, which was a drag, but it had to be done.
