Woot! Today my mom, aunt and I went matress shopping. Yes, it sounds boring, but it's funnn. I needed a new one since I've had my bed since I got out of my crib. So, naturally, I'm getting a BED for my birthday. Right now I've got a old, firm, springy twin bed that has gotten me into the habit much like one of a pancake: I don't roll over, I flip. If I rolled over, I'd fall off the bed and get a concussion of some sort by hitting my side table. And who wants a pancake with a concussion? Oh, and I'm getting so tall that my feet are nearly hanging off the edge...
My future matress [to arrive a week after my birthday... about two weeks from now] is AWESOME. It's an extra-long full size, so my feet will be included in the comfiness and won't feel like they're about to fall off a cliff. And plus, I CAN ROLL OVER! Chyeah~! It's all cushy. The saleslady at the store [she was the only one there... the store was called "Cloud 9"] said almost intantly when I tried out the bed "Ope! I think you've found your bed!" I asked why and she explained "I can just tell. Look at her eyes! They've got that misty, faraway look in them. And your body language is a huge givaway, too." I sudenly realized that I can curled up on my side with my head on the pillow and my hands folded contentedly underneath my chin. I looked like a little tot snuggled up on a couch, staring at our Christmas tree surrounded by a fortress of unopened toys... it was soooooooo comfy. Aaah. And the saleslady wasn't even trying to mooch me off, she literally could tell. She was very Californian, I guess. She was like my other aunt... Aunt Joy. x3
Yay! I'll be able to sleep soon.
