Yumi was running. Running from her village, her home, and her past.
~Flashback~
"Why can't you be noraml?! Speak up for yourself!" her mother screamed. She threw a book at a five-year-old Yumi Shashu. It hit her neck, and it just so happens that it damaged her voice box.
~End flashback!
That was 5 years ago. Now she has finally arrived in Konoha after spending those five years in the forest. Her clothes were torn. Everything about her looked washed out. Her pale blue eyes were almost white. her red hair was almost pink.
She walked up to the gates of Konoha. The guard looked at her funny.
"Where are you parents?" he asked.
I don't have any parents. she said. Her words brushed across the guards mind.
"Go see the Hokage."
Thank you mister.
Yumi walked threw the center of the village. A blonde boy ran pst her as two ninja chased him. He laughed and rouded the corner. Yumi turned and continued to walk.
She got to the hokage's building and to his door. She knocked and waited.
"come in." said someone through the other side of the door. Yumi
opened the heavy door slowly, reveiling and old man.
Hello Hokage-sama. yumi said.
He looked up.
"Well, my goodness, what happened to you? What's you name?
I'm Yumi Shashu, sir. I have bee living in the forest for five years.
The Hokage was shocked. He summoned someone to the room and whispered something in his ear. The man nodded and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Well, I'm going to put you into the academy and get you an apartment, but for today, you will stay with Hinata Hyuuga and she will be your escort.
Suddenly, a girl walked through the door.
"y-yes, hokage-sama?"
She was bout as tall as Yumi, with cerulean hair and white eyes. She glanced at her and looked away.
"Ah, Hinata," The Hokage said. "You have a new friend. Her name is Yumi and she will be staying wih you all day until we can find her an apartment."
"H-hai, Hokage-sama."
Hello Hinata Yumi sid, and she smiled. You're my first friend.
