She gracefully walked up the steps, slicing the rope around his neck with one swing of a blade, leaving only a thin, fine line cross his throat. As she leaned down to the crimson, pressing her lips to the now cold flesh, she savored that sickly sweet taste. Then she lifted up the drunken corpse dragging it silently away into the woods without a sound.
'She gazed around the courtroom, watching everyone's eyes mount on her back as she turned to face him. "Your honor...I am not what you proclaim me to be, this man has twisted your thoughts so that you do not notice the truth...He does not want you to knwo that this man, the one I once claimed to love, is a witch! He has fooled us all, tricked me into loving him and tricked the village to protect him. He is the witch, not I..." In the back of her mind she broke into a smile, and watched as she judge sentenced the punishment.
As they approached the river, the smell of decaying carcases overwhelmed the area, ao that not even an animal would so much as disturb her. She carefully placed him next to the water and with only a single sling of metal she hald her blade firmly in her hand, watching it gleam brightly in the newly strung moon. "I love you till the day I die...remember those words? But I doubt that means would won't love me now...."
'The sentence was made, and his fingers were wrapped around her throat, squeezing until the breath left her lungs and she could no longer here his pleaded cries. "Tell them the truth! Tell them what you told me! Liar!" His hot breath ran across her face, and in that single second he shoved a knife into the plate of her heart, leaving all to see. "He killed her!" "He is a witch!" "Hang him quickly!" "Yes! Before he curses us all!" '

As she gentley placed the blooded skull on her nightstand, near the many others, their blood dried for years of rest, their eyes empty and hollow, yet, full of vengence. While she placed a kiss on the top of its head, staining her lips, the door burst open. Sending a scream outword till her last final breath...
