Kit Kat:

Kit stared out the window trying to drown out her history teacher, with little success. “Kit…KIT!” the teacher yelled across the crowded class room. Kit snapped back into reality with a confused “what?” As everyone else laughed. “Kit, move to the center of the room so you can’t stare out the window. No the seat next to Zak.” Kit moved to the seat next to the strange boy silently. The teacher went back to teaching and kit slipped back into the day dream only to be snapped out of it by the soft thud of a note landing on her side of the shared table. She looked at Zak who was smiling and she picked the note up and opened it. Written in large messy handwriting where the words “Hi. I’m Zak (Duh) Do U like the School So Far?”. Kit looked over at Zak again and wrote in her equally messy handwriting “yes. But how did you know it was my first day here?”. She folded it up and slid it over to Zak’s notebook. Kit watched Zak open the note out of the corner of her eye. He read it and wrote something else and then the note was back on her side. “Because your uniform is newer then everyone else’s, and you look like you miss someone/place.” she smiled and wrote back “Yes. I moved here from the US. But I think I like it here in England much more.”
They wrote back and forth like that for the remainder of the first class and then discovered that they had the same classes all day. “So you’re from the us? That’s quite the change.” Zak commented as he gathered his books and picked up kit’s papers. “Yea I guess it is. I can’t believe you’re a junior though. You look like a senior.” She said taking the papers and walking to the door. They walked to the gym and they sat next to each other while talking about the first class’s teacher. The gym teacher came in and told everyone to go get dressed for PE. Zak walked kit to the dressing room door and promised to wait for her. She got dressed quickly and walked out. Sure enough there was Zak leaning on the wall waiting for her. He didn’t see her so she walked slowly so she could admire him. His black-blue hair that touched his eye brows, his 6’3 frame, and how he just looked so strong. She was so in trance that she tripped when his ice blue eyes fell on her. She landed flat on her face at his feet. She felt like crying until she felt Zak’s hands picking her up and him asking if she was ok. She nodded and tried to hide behind her bleach-blonde hair. “You should be careful kit, the floor is hard” he laughed and moved the hair out of her face. The teacher took the class outside and told them to run the track. Kit ran but soon lost Zak in a large group of friends. She gave up and started to think about Zak and how much he reminded her of a boy in the states. Zak hung out with his friends the whole class and kit made a few friends.
By the next class she was sure she had a crush on Zak and walked into the classroom to see Zak leaning on a desk. She went to sit next to him when I tall red head delicately set her stuff on the desk. Kit set her stuff down on a desk nearby and turned back to talk to Zak, only to see Zak and the red head engaged in a deep kiss. Kit’s heart dropped to what seemed to be her toes and she slowly sat down and stared at the board. The whole class she resisted the urge to cry or look at him. When the bell rung to signal the end of the 3rd class she hurried to grab her stuff and practically ran out the door. She got to her 4th class and sat next to a black haired girl who looked lonely. “Hello. I’m kit…can I sit here?” she asked quietly. The girl nodded and went back to staring at her hands. “Umm what’s your name?” kit asked and the girl responded “Evy like poison ivy but with an E.”
The 2 girls started the note pass and kept it going to the end of class. She hadn’t realized it but Evy was also in all her classes. The two of them didn’t even notice when Zak came in the class or when he left, Even though Zak had thrown a worried confused look at kit before he was drug out of the class by the red head. In the girl’s note they talked about Zak and the red head. Her name was Princess and that her and Zak had been dateing since they where freshmen. Kit and Evy gathered their stuff and left for lunch. They sat in the sophomore section in the court yard and ate the messy burgers and greasy fries kit had grown so accustom to. They talked the whole lunch and when the bell rang had to stuff the food in their mouths and ran down the hall to the next class. As the girls rounded the corner they ran into Princess, right into her. Evy fell flat on her butt and Kit ended up with Princess’ smoothie on her uniform. And of coarse there was Zak. "oh my gawd! you little cluts! you spiled my smoothie!" princess screamed at Kit.
