Sorry. Hate me if you must, I have to get this out. Don't read it if you want to stay blinded by your own perception of mankind's past.

Pastor Kim Latterell of my church stood up infront of the Congrigation and informed us the Bible is not perfect fact. It is a story. The book is for you to decide what is true, false, right, wrong, moral, unethical, or holy. The Old Testament is a summary, and unless you are reading real scipture in its original tounge, it could have changed over the years. The New Testament is a story from four male authors (and what man do you know has never once exagarated or lied?) who discribe the events that happened infront of them as well as their beliefs.

The reason we have different religions is not because there is one truth, and alot of lies, but instead because there is no truth and no lies. Religion is open-ended. What I say AND what you say are false. There is no truth, and there is no lies.

Religion is faith and trust, not a rulebook and an exact record of the comming of 'god'.

On a different note, our goverment controls us, whether you like it or not. They tap our phonelines, watch us on cameras, and so forth. I once believed the Bible was a way to keep evil down to a minimum. (No! I can't do that! I'd be sinning!) Is this why the populace frowns at atheists? Brainwashing by our goverment over the many hundreds of years? A plot so old it would be disguised as 'not a plot AT ALL'?
And to make it better, installed many religions to separate us? The many minds to uncover this plot, separated?

Just a thought.
