Chapter 1: Tai
Ashlynn was sitting up in a tree. Cleaning her once clean katana. 'damn I cant get this out. I think theres a river nearby....' She thought and jumped from tree to tree to find a river. 'yes there is one.' She cherred in her head. She landed causally on the ground, hoping no one followed her. Ashlynn took a list out of her pocket and crossed off a name, the last name on the list. She could return to the hideout. She walked twords the river and took out a cleaning cloth that she used to clean her katana. She dunked it into the water and scrubed it gently. Ashlynn pulled it out of the water and out it back into it's sheathe.

She stared at her reflection in the water. " What have I become....." She whispered, slapped the water, stood up, and turned around. A sword not even two inches away from her face." Ashlynn Rose I persume. Or should I call u Speed." The man said. He looked about her age with shaggy dark blue hair and sapphire eyes. He was wearing a black top and baggy jeans. " Looks like the athorities caut me." Ashlynn smerked. Not planning on going without a fight. " Accually, I've come with a deal. My boss can offer u a way out." He said. " What do u mean?" She asked. " I'll explane more if u come with me." He said. " How do I know uwont turn me in.....or rape me?" Ashlynn asked laying a hand on her katana.

" Because I dont wish to die at the hands of a criminal." He said. Ashlynn scoffed and backed away a little. "He can offer you a way out of your deal with your boss." The man said. " Im allready out of my deal." She said lying through her teeth. " Liar." He said simply. 'damn....' "Tell me your name, u allready know mine." She said. " Tai." He said. ' Tai huh....' Ashlynn gulped as his sword inched closer to her neck. " Fine, I'll see what your boss has to offer me." Ashlynn said putting her stubborn attitude aside. " Perfect." Tai said putting his sword in its sheathe. " Follow me." Tai said turning on his heel and walking away. " Wait for me!" Ashlynn yelled and chased after him.

Ashlynn ran up beside him. He was about two inches taller than her. Well, if she took off her boots it would be about three inches. Ashlynn had brown hair that went to the middle of her back and silver eyes. She wore a midnight blue tang top with a fishnet undershirt, long jeans that covered up her one inch heeled boots, and her katana on her left hip because she is right handed. Sometimes she had it on her back. Her nailes were painted red with black stripes. Tai looked just like a normal 20 year old boy. But with a sword. Ashlynn noticed that his one ear was pirced. " So what dose your boss run here?" Ashlynn asked. " You'll find out." Tai said. "but i wanna know." She wined. " Just be patient." He said. "Hmph..." Ashlynn crossed her arms over her chest. " How about we set up camp." Tai said. " I might get caut." Ashlynn said. " Do you accually sleep in a tree?" Tai asked. " Yeah. If i dont fall out of it people don't usually notice." She said laughing. Tai laughed too. They picked a big enough tree for Ashlynn to sleep in and she climed on one of the lowe branches. " I'll sleep under the tree instead of in it." Tai said. " Good you can cushin my fall when I slip." She laughed. " Thank God you don't look that heavy." Tai said sitting down and leaning his back against the tree." 'She dosent act like a killer.' Ashlynn soon fell into an undistrubed sleep.

Tai woke up first, he saw Ashlynn was still asleep so he went to go get some food. But he did it quickly before Ashlynn was discovered. His boss would kill him. Tai grabbed two appels from a tree and ran back. She was still asleep. Tai sighed in releaf and waited for Ashlynn to wake up. " Uh..." she mumbled " Mommy!" she screamed. Tai shot up and climbed the tree. " Mommy!" Ashlynn screamed again." Ashlynn, wake up, please. whats wrong?!" Tai said shaking her slightly. Her eyes shot open and was gasping for air. Then saw Tai ontop of her.
" Wh-why are u ontop of me?" She asked. " You were screaming in ur sleep." Tai said with a worried look. " Oh i do that sometimes." Ashlynn said scrathing the back of her head. Tai's expression changed from worry to releaf. " Well atleast no one herd you or they would think i was hurting you or something." Tai said laughing and jumping down. Ashlynn stood up but slipped and fell on Tai. " Are u allright?" Tai asked laying on his back and Ashlynn was ontop of him. "Y-yeah." She said and giggled. 'whats she giggling about?' Tai thought. She got off him.

Ashlynn giggled again and ruffled his allready messed up hair. " C'mon lets go." She said getting up. "Yeah." Tai said smoothing out his hair and getting up. Ashlynn giggled and punched him playfully in the arm. " You werent like this last night." Tai said. " Well, I thought you were going to kill me or turn me in." She said. Ashlynn was allways fun-loving and sarcastic. She can be cold when need be, but most of the time she was fun to be around. Tai looked at her. She had a huge smiled on her face. " So when are we getting to your bosse's place?" Ashlynn asked shoving her hands in her pockets. " Now." He said. " But i dont see anything. " Ashlynn said. " Over here." he said brushing tree limbs out of the way. Revealing a very large ruin. It seemed to be a building in some ancient time. " It dosent look like mutch but its headquarters." Tai said walking twords the building. " O.k." Ashlynn said following Tai into the building.
