This weekend went well. I spent the weekend at my friend's house. I haven't seen Rachelle since New Year. I don't see her often, but we try to get together as much as we can. Whenever I'm there, we always play Monopoly and she always wins stare stressed , but luckily this time, we weren't able to play it so I didn't have to go through the horror of losing again. We made double chocolate chip cookies, and she accidently added 3/4 cup of water, when it was supposed to be 3/4 cup of butter and 1 tablespoon of water. Luckily I noticed before we mixed the ingredients. We dumped out as much water as we could, but the dough seemed a little too wet. After we took them out of the oven, they turned out fine. We ate Chinese food they ordered and stayed up all night until 3am watching movies. We watched a really confusing movie called Eye of the Beholder, then we watched Step Up, and then She's the Man. We woke up at around noon and I had to leave at 1pm because we had to go to uncle's house right after, so I quickly got dressed and we watched a little bit of Jackass Number 2 until my ride came.
On my way out the door, she gave me some cookies to take home, and I ate them all on the way to uncle's. sweatdrop
When we got there, we saw their basement all finished with its furniture and floors. It looked nice. They even had a minibar down there. There was also there own projector theatre, where we watched three movies: The Messengers, The Legend of Zorro (my hero), and Van Helsing. I am terrified of scary movies, but The Messengers wasn't even scary at all. My mom was trying to freak me out by saying "Oh, the ghost is coming", but when John stabbed Roy in the back with the pitchfork, she totally freaked out and screamed. blaugh rofl We all found that hilarious and laughed so hard.
We watched most of Zorro, but we couldn't finish it since it wasn't working.
We started watching Van Helsing, then a quarter way through, we went up to eat dinner and ice cream (mmmmmm 4laugh ) and finished the rest of the movie after.
I had a great time during the weekend!
