The saffron rifle is specifically designed to be the weapon of the (S.A.M.S.U.N. Narrow). Meant to be a quickly deployable easily handled weapon the saffron uses a concentrated magnetic rod system to compress a small amount of the users elemental abilities into a one inch long pointed round which is fired at roughly 10,000 ft per second with a max range of 2 miles. deadly accurate from nearly any range its capabilities are only limited by the user.
the major drawback to the saffron is it's utter lack of love for the user. the recoil is punishing to say the least making continuous fire a painful and arduous task to even the most seasoned sniper.Due to its delicate circuitry cleanliness is also a major issue forcing the user to keep it out of the water and fine dust and clean it nearly every day or risk a total malfunction or explosion. these issues will hopefully be resolved in version 2 of the rifle.
