On that cold December day.
Standing wrapped around each other, made a chaotic world and a heart full of pain and anger dissapear.
Your arms wrapped around my waist, my face buried in your neck and shoulder, your chin gently resting on mine.
Helped a troubled soul take a much needed breather.
A gentle kiss, growing more passionate by the minute, making my world go blurry. Giving me hope that maybe, I had a chance at a better life.
All to soon it's over, time for you to go. 'Till next time.
Plans made, goodnight kisses and then waiting for the sun to rise again, just so I can be in the safe haven of your arms again.
Plans suddenly vanish, an already broken heart that had been taped back together, shatters into a billion little pieces.
Wandering back to the place where so many kisses, so many warm embraces shared.
Again, the question of why on my mind, heart and lips.
Eyes overflowing with the tears of pain as reality delivers another cold hard slap.
Memories taking place before my eyes.
Instead of your arms around me, the cold bitter wind snaps at me, pulling me this way and that way.
The world in my mind more chaotic and dangerous then before.
Suddenly all traces of you - except for the pain left in my heart - are gone.
On that cold December day.
