• Description: This is a poem I wrote about when I was going through a rough time. I was always worrying about things i couldn't change or things that were not my fault. when i reflected on this many weeks later i got the idea from the a prayer i remembered. "Lord let me accept the things i cannot change, power to change the things i can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Through all the toils, the pains and strife,
I try to lead an honest life,
I wish no harm upon those i love,
I pray for forgiveness from Him above,
Lead me to the land of Light,
and keep me from me fears at night,
Take me to a world of peace,
and a happy blessing that shall not cease,
allow me to accept the things i cant fix
remind me of the worlds nasty tricks,
give me the power to change what i can,
let me embrace the world like a true man,
give me the knowledge of which is which,
and pray that life isn't really a.....eyesore.
