Alone in the forest, the old log lay
Rotting from within
Waiting patiently for the day
The earth would draw him in
His long life flashed before his tired eyes
As the logger cut him down
And left him there where he now lies
Sitting there without a sound

good poem...very well done in terms of the intent...i think it could be slightly better in terms of flow...but over all not bad
Concept: 3/5 (try something a bit more intriguing next time)
Style: 4/5 (see if you can fiddle with the style and try something original)
Flow: 4/5 (good, could be better)
Figurative Language/Imagery: 3/5 (poem itself is personification, yes, but try to include other types as well...)
Overall: 3.5/5 (4) - Report As Spam
