I lied in his arms, my body itching from the grass, smoke escaping his lips. His hands roamed but i pushed them off, he was a one-night stand that lasted an extra two weeks. I had a feeling that if I didn't end it before he caught another reflection of himself I'd be stuck with him for another fourteen days. He was like a heartbroken song writer without his guitar and I felt like a meaningless groupie.
No one was around... No one cared. We were miles away from everyone, anyone. The beat up Toyota, chipped paint and all was feet away, beyond that was miles of field. He showed me this place for our first date, probably in hopes of romantic outcomes. He pressed his lips against my neck and the smoke poured into my ears and nose, the smell of tobacco was enough to want him to stop, but he didn't. I stood up after a threatening smack narrowly avoided a very sensitive spot and walked to the car. Undisturbed, he just threw his head back and closed his eyes. Maybe he saw it coming, it happened so fast that even I didn't but sure enough there I stood, my finger releasing the trigger and the smoke coming to an end.
