• "Max? I'm hungry," Nudge said from behind me.
    "I know Nudge. We're all hungry. We'll stop at the next town we see below," I replied diving down a little to look.
    Fang came up next to me as silent as could be I only noticed his presence there when he spoke.
    "I think I see some houses and a town down there. Should we go look?" he asked.
    I saw that he was right.
    "yes. I'll tell the other to descend into the forest," I replied.
    Fang nodded.
    "Angel, Nudge, Gazzy, Iggy, descend. We're going to land behind some trees. Iggy put Total in your backpack," I orderded.
    "I can handle the descends now Max," Total our dog complained.
    "I think not. You're going in that backpack," I replied.
    Total snorted and Iggy put him in as I ordered.
    We all began a steep descend down into the trees. The wind blew my hair behind me and I felt a moment of happiness.
    When we landed we walked onto the sidewalk. Fang pointed out the town ahead and we headed for that direction, hoping that there was some places we could eat.
    Once we reached the town we found a grocery and Angel and I walked in while the others waited outside for us. I kept checking around me to make sure no Erasers were coming after us.
    "I want a Turkey sandwich Max," Angel said when we reached the deli area of the grocery.
    I nodded and got a bunch of everything that was deli knowing the flock would eat it all. Then we headed over to the bread area and got a few loaves of those. Then Angel spotted some water bottles and we took a pack of them.
    Once we got to the register I noticed the girl there looked me over.
    "New to town?" She asked in a friendly tone.
    "We're just visiting," I replied.
    "Well, I hope you have a nice time in Forks, Washington. Not many people come here because of all the rain."
    "Really?" I said conversationally as I put the grocery's in sacks.
    "Mhm. That'll be fifty dollars," she replied.
    I took the money out of my pocket and handed her the correct amount. She handed me the receit and Angel and I went on our way out the store with arms full of grocery's.
    "Need help with those?" Fang asked once we were outside.
    "Yes please," I said handing him the package of waterbottles.
    "Where are we eating this?" the Gasman asked.
    "Let's go in the woods. We can stay out sight there," I replied.
    They all nodded. We walked to the woods without anyone noticing us and walked deep into it where everything was silent.
    We laid our food bags on the ground, sat down, and began making our own sandwiches. Everyone was happy now and it made me happy. Angel laid some food on the ground for Total and he ate it up.
    "Wha-" Fang said.
    He was looking around with panic in his eyes. Then...something nocked him to the ground. I stood up ready for attack mode. If Erasers were out there they better run. Then, I heard chuckling. Not Eraser chuckling and not human chuckling. Something else...but what?
