I HATE COMPUTER TECHNICIANS!!!!! So here's the story why.
For christmas I recieved a grand worth of computer hardware upgrades. This was to run NWN2. Now, firstly the powersupply wouldn't plug into the motherboard due the plugs not being compatiable, so I couldn't put my present together till three days after I recieved it. So the shop finally opens and we get the adapter needed. What happens you ask? Well about a week later the computer suddenly fails, it begins beeping everytime I turn it on. I found out this is because of a motherboard failure.
So we take my computer to the people who we bought the parts off. So they say there is nothing wrong with the computer, which is absolute bullshit since when I had it the motherboard had failed. So we get it back and lord be praised it's working again for some reason.
So I have it for about another week, bang, again the computer fails. This time the monitor plug seem's to fail and not connect the monitor and the graphics card. So I again take the computer back to the lovely computer technicians *Insert Sarcasm*. So what happens? Three days later they say they still find nothing wrong with it. I bash my head against my now empty computer table. Which soon becomes filled with my computer, which is working fine now.
Now, you'd think this would be the end of it. But nope. Two weeks later I'm playing a game and "crash". Computer restarts instantly for no reason. If this had been a really crappy computer I would have been pissed, but my comp starts up nigh instantly. So I put up with it for 4 to 5 weeks since I can't be bothered taking it back. Finally I have had enough and take it back, another three days and the now becoming mythical phrase is uttered to my ears "Nothing wrong". This time they charge me money even though it's under guarentee. Bah! I knew they where milking it for cash. That they probably weren't fixing the problem just to make sure I'd have to come back and get it fixed again, this time charging me for the time wasted.
So I get my computer back, I play it, seem's to work fine, no restarts. However, today I'm trying to run a Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines. This is a normally slow and glitchy game. But it should work like a breeze on my computer since NWN2 worked fine on my computer when I tried it. But guess what, no such luck. So I take a look at the paging file in the system information. Then I notice something. 512mb's of Ram? Hold on, that ain't right. I have 1gb. Two 500 mb sticks.
This explains why my computer is running so much slower. They ******** up the Ram sticks. Likely the technician pulled out the Ram without a Earth connector. Thus equalling, dead Ram.
Now I have to deal with the technicians yet again to get this Ram replaced for there ******** up. GODS I HATE COMPUTER TECHNICIANS!!!!!! %*&%#(*@%
