I have decided to post up my manga Ch. online since i keep forgetting to bring it to school to show everyone. If you think it's good and you would like me to keep posting it up or just want to leave a comment, please do! whee A girl with silky white hair up to her waist was walking up a hill when it began to snow. She was about 14 years old but her life was a living hell. Her parents were never home when she was and even if they were, they’d yell at her for no reason. She was a pest, a nuisance. She sighed and breathed on her fingers to keep them warm. It looks like this Christmas will be the same as ever. As she walked home, she noticed a car coming towards her slowly. She noticed that it was her parents coming to pick her up, but why? They’ve never picked her up before. “Get in Maiji; we are going to grandpa’s house.”
Grandpa Kido’s house was very huge and always fun to visit. He was very kind and was nothing like Maiji’s parents. “Come in, come in.” he said as Maiji and her parents walked in. “Hi Grandpa!” said Maiji as she ran up to him and hugged him. As she walked around the house, she noticed that her parents leaned in to tell her grandfather something. He nodded in approval to something but she couldn’t make it out. “Maiji-Chan, would you mind waiting upstairs in the guest room? Your parents and I need to talk about something personal.” “Um, sure I don’t mind.” said Maiji as she grabbed her suitcase and walked slowly up the stairs. As soon as she was out of sight, Grandpa Kido turned around; his smiling face had quickly vanished as quickly as the wind blew. He now wore a serious and disgusted expression. “I can’t believe you two are really her parents, to say such horrible things. She’s only in high school for goodness’ sake!” Angry voices could be heard from downstairs as Maiji sat down on the dusty bed. “?” Puzzled, she poked her head out of the doorway. She silently crept toward the top step where she could hear more clearly. “-we can’t help it, she’s so bothersome. She does nothing to help us around the house and she’s just wasting our money by being with us. That’s why; we thought that Maiji could stay with you until we find another relative for her to stay with permanently.” Maiji’s parents said. “Gasp!” Maiji thought that even though she was a pest to them, she thought her parents loved her but… “So in other words, you’re throwing her away?! If Grandma was still here she would never allow it!” yelled Grandpa Kido in a furious voice.
At dinner, Maiji sat around the oak table staring at her food but made no effort in eating it. “Maiji, if you don’t eat your food now then it will get cold.” said her mother. Maiji just sat in the same motionless position. Her eyes looked like a marble for a moment as if made out of glass. “So you want to get rid of me because I’m a pest?” she asks directing her attention to her parents. “Well, we thought it over for a while and…” but before Maiji’s mother could finish, she ran up the stairs with tears flowing from her eyes. She slammed the door of the spare bedroom and locked it. She sat there with her back against the door when she heard footsteps dashing up the stairs to the room. There was a pound on the other side of the door as her parents knocked on it. Wiping away her tears, Maiji got up and backed away from the door. She looked frantically around for a place to hide but it was useless. She slumped back down onto the floor and started to sob again when something shimmering caught her eye. She looked around but didn’t see anything that was reflecting light. She did see a tall figure standing by the window covered by a large blanket. She pulled the blanket off and was staring at a giant mirror. “Wait there is a spare key leading to this room, I’ll get it.” said Grandpa Kido. Maiji blinked and turned around to look back at the mirror, but she didn’t see her reflection. Instead, she saw a field covered in snow. “What on earth-”. There was a blinding light as Maiji was being pulled in to the mirror. When she looked back for a moment, she saw her parents and her grandfather barge into the room then was sent falling towards the bottom of wherever she was. Maiji was so surprised that she couldn’t even let out a small cry before she was sent pummeling to was looked like the ground covered by snow. “Yeow!!!” Maiji cried as she landed harshly on the ground.
Groaning, Maiji got up and looked around at her surroundings. Giant pine trees, flakes of snow falling gently from the sky. The wind blew softly on Maiji’s face sending a light shiver up her spine. She realized that she didn’t have anything on to keep her warm from the cold but strangely, it was quit warm. She held her hand out to catch the falling snow and looked up at the sky hoping to find a hole from where she fell. All she saw was fluffy clouds floating in the sky taking no particular shape. She heard footsteps behind her and as she turned around, she saw a person walking towards her. It was a boy about her height, slightly taller maybe, and possibly the same age. He had golden brown hair and had sharp brown eyes. “…W-what are you doing here?” he asked. “Um, I don’t really know. I found this mirror, a giant mirror, and then it sucked me in and the next thing I know I’m in this place.” Explained Maiji. “This is bad, really bad…” he said while ruffling his hair. He walks up to Maiji and stops right in front of her. He held his hand out in front of her face and flicked it. Maiji’s eyes slowly drooped until she began to fall to the ground. Her legs gave out and she went limp. She fell into the boy’s outstretched arms as if he already knew that she would suddenly collapse. He let out a “Humph!” and walked away carrying Maiji.
