The following needs to be said. Yes, I will be using names. PM box is open for comment, as always. The following post is heavily filled with opinion. You are free to agree/disagree. This stuff just needs to be let out.
And now, the entry:
It really, really sucks they way so many people recently refuse to speak their mind. What are you afraid of? That someone might disagree? Someone might click that report button? Somone may not be your freind durring recess.
Grow up people. Its ok to state your opinions, even if they go against the trend. Thats how stuff gets done. If everything goes find and dandy, nothing happens. No change. No new stuff. Nothing added.
Its ok to ruffle some feathers and get out whats on your mind. See, watch me do it, it's simple.
I think whoever decided to pick Ryuke as a mod has absolutley terrible judgement. I do. And oh, I know what you are thinking. "She's Jealous that she didnt get pick, just like everyone else" Well, sorry, that isnt the case.
I did care about getting mod for a bit there. But, I got tired of pretending to be someone who I wasnt. Im not going to change myself just so I can better help out Gaia here. If the admins dont like what they see in me, thats fine. But I can still have the opinion that an admin screwed up Royally.
One of the reasons I think Ryuke is not a good choice is, for one, he has hardly been on at all recently. Yes, I am aware that this is not his fault. But, I don't see how one can mod if they are rarely on. I mean, look at some of the other people who are spotty mods. They get flack, and they damn well deserve it.
Also, with the addition of Dri, Espy, and Xiahou Dun, as well as the helper system (which yes, still needs to be enacted for us) it is total overkill. we will be overmodded, and people will be acoused of not doing their jobs. Now, if we didnt have the report system, that would be one thing... but we do... and its all inclusive now. And yes, I understand that the mods are not just area specific, they are system wide now, and I understand them needing staff to do this, but there are better people in C&T that have proven that yes, they are capable of being a mod, moreso than Ryuke, who has proved several times he is not ready yet.
Plus, it looks like the only reason he did get picked was due to the C&TPD.
Just because he is a reg, does not mean we have to blindly accept this, like some of you are doing. Yes, he is a reg, but he got picked for the entirely wrong reasons. Maybe at a differnt spot in time he would be an excellent choice, but right now, he is not at all the right pick.
I will still be reporting threads and issues to sisky, twist and xeon, until Ryuke can prove he is ready for action.
And Nate. Do me a favor. Do yourself a favor.

You are getting into trouble, and digging a huge whole for yourself and others. I know you like to share some of the information you get, but you know what? Some of that info you should really not know in the first place, and just because you know it, does not give you the right to disclouse it to your freinds. If you keep it up, you are going to get yourself into a heap of trouble. If you know something, just smirk in the knowledge that we dont know it, and do not share it, with ANYONE AT ALL.
And, if it is information you can spread (IE, public domain stuff, I know you know the difference here) do not spread what you think is truth unless you honestly know that it is true. Because when you get people all rilied up about nothing, it makes them look like asses when it doesnt have backing. PM me if you want to discuss this further.
Doppler... I sent you a nice lengthy PM the other night, and you seem to "get it" now. Just keep having it got, and you will be fine, because I don't know how many more times I can stand telling you the same thing. Also, I know this is hard, but can you please stop acting like the world will end because you are having shitty luck? Bad stuff happens to us all, not just you, the world does go on, and remeber, you promised.
Sisky, thank you so much for putting up with all of us. Its amazing how you can be even partially sane, but after the stuff you told me today, I think a little bit of insanity is what keeps you sane.
Ill probobly add others later, but Ive been up for some time.
SLIGHT EDIT: for clarification purposes only, It should be known that I have nothing personally against ryuke, although some have, do and are questioning his politics.
