this year, 2014, will mark 5 years since I was violently date raped I am a survivor and determined to take back what was taken from me; my confidence in myself as a person of some worth, acceptance what happened wasn't my fault, and to challenge the trials and terrors of PTSD through specialized trauma therapy and taking time off from nursing school.
