[Passive Abilities]
Acidic Saliva: Jor’s saliva contains enzymes that are particularly sensitive to organic materials. When biting, this will cause flesh to slowly burn due to breakdown. For living beings only. His saliva has little effect on metals unless he clamped down and drooled all day on them.
Serpentine Vision: Jor has two methods of seeing. Like most snakes, he cannot see in color, but he has excellent depth perception and crystal clear vision. However, as a constrictor, he has a secondary ability to see heat sources and is unaffected by darkness as a result. This allows him to sense hidden individuals by sight alone, which is different from his sense of smell. A body would have to remain at the temperature of the environment in order to remain undetected by his heat vision, and any slight fluctuation would alert him to a potential enemy
Snake Scenting: When Jor flicks his tongue he is able to detect the natural body odors of living things as well as magical essence and machines. Hidden individuals that are able to evade this would need to have another scent to mask their own, and make sure it matches their body heat. Jor can identify various species by heat vision and scenting them out, and irregularities would arouse suspicion.
Crunch: Jor can extent his mouth a whopping 150º when biting. As a constrictor, he is non-venomous. Teeth are not hollow, but solid. However, when not in use, they lie flat to prevent self-mutilation as the teeth are large enough to puncture the bottom of its mouth, and curve inward to allow prey to be pulled in. However, Jor will not attempt to eat a thrashing live individual; instead he will work on slowly crushing his victims so he can eat in peace.
In addition, he has a bite pressure of 5-6,000 lbs per square inch when clamping down. This is supernaturally strong grip and it takes a great deal of effort to dislodge him once he latches onto an individual. The pressure also will allow him to grasp onto metallic beings, but only if he can hold on long enough. He can penetrate soft alloys but it will hurt his mouth and cause him to bleed. He'd rather just coil around them and work on crippling by crushing.
Coiling power: Jor, at the peak of his crushing strength, is capable of devastating a small sedan without hurting himself. However, the process of this level of crushing takes some time at least 3 posts. Most of the time he can quickly start snapping brittle bone if he gets enough of his coil around an individual. Usually punctures a rib or two within initial coiling contact, by the next two posts, he should be within rib and spine crushing potential.
Traveling speed: Jor moves about as fast as an anaconda on land due to his large bulk. He averages about 2mph, with a max speed of 8mph. Speed is increased with water contact, decreased if there is a drastic temperature drop. There are different movements that Jor is capable of to help increase his dodging capability.
Jor also speaks. And will let you know exactly what he thinks of you.
[Defense]
Armor:Scales are thick and evenly distributed. There’s no such thing as a soft underbelly with this creature. They are an inch thick and are resistant to majority of arrows and small caliber weaponry. However, repetitious firing, hacking, will cause damage. Initial attacks usually create a dull pain unless it is something from a crossbow, which has serious potential to harm him out of the arrow type class. The scales are smooth, making it difficult to get a grip on him.
Weak points are within the mouth and the eyes. The eyes have a film of organic membrane typical of reptilian creatures but it is easily penetrable with proper aim. Penetration through the mouth requires the individual to jam their weaponry at a roughly 45 degree angle in his mouth, stabbing the top of his snout will piss him off, and at most probably hurt him if done with the right amount of force and weapon, but will not kill him.
Jor does not have any natural accelerated healing abilities and relies on Slick for a patch up.
[Attacks]
Jor’s personal method is to sneak and strike someone from behind. His patterns allow him to meld into darkness and dim lighting with relative ease. Initial attacks work on either paralyzing the individual from breaking their spine, or temporarily handicapping them by shoulder strikes or knee strikes. Jor prefers to strike at the legs and work his way up because on the ground is where he’s most powerful and can launch himself to strike.
One should be aware that Jor has a striking speed similar to a boxer’s jab. This is about 10-20 feet/second. Within this strike, depending on how close he is to his victim as well as where his victim is located, he can usually get at least one coil wrapped around him/her. Jor does not have to be coiled up to strike.
Unsuccessful clamp-downs will still involve gashing of exposed skin-and it is not unheard of for Jor to get snagged onto armor or loose clothing if he misses in his strikes. If Jor is snagged and stuck, he will flail wildly, and it’s more than getting slapped by a Magikarp. Dis b***h is goin Gyarados on you.
[Combo attacks with Slick]
Southpaw Special: Slick grasps Jor by the tail or lower end of his coils and swings him around rapidly, launching the gigantic snake in the direction of the attacker. If his aim makes contact, the victim can expect to be knocked flat on their a** in no time if they are a lightweight. This also allows him to break through glass, with a minor stunning effect. However, if he misses his mark and hits the wall or a heavy metallic object, he will be temporarily stunned.
Twinstrike: While Slick is battling above and keeping opponent busy, Jor will strike at the legs, notably taking out the Achilles tendon in one leg if his attack is successful, thus crippling the opponent.
Crotchmonster: Another version of Twinstrike, this is where Jor will literally zoom up between an opponent’s legs. Prepare for genital mutilation, as this snake does not give a ******** where he bites. Even if he is off, you can expect to get some kind of goring in between the thighs and risk nicking the femoral artery for those who operate on a human-esque body system.
Facehugger: This is only available if Jor is still on top of Slick’s shoulders. If Slick is within range, and boxing it out with another opponent, Jor will strike at the opponent’s neck and face. Successful strikes can lead to dizziness, unconsciousness, or temporarily paralysis. With enough force it can be lethal to take someone’s head off, but for brawling purposes, the highest amount of damage will give a person a concussion.
[Additional information]
Despite his large size, Jor is exceptionally nimble and can dodge attacks on the ground to compensate for land-slowness. He may not be the fastest runner out there, but his serpentine flexibility allows him to avoid strikes. However, when wrapped around Slick’s shoulder’s he’s easiest to hit, due to his head only being able to have mobility.
Jor does not possess mana or magical energy, although aura-sensitive individuals might be able to sense former deity spiritual energies within him.
Jor relies on Slick for healing, and is a slow bleeder when stuck. His blood is highly corrosive to metals.
It is easy to assume that Jor is just some primitive snake, but his cunning and cruelty far outmatches Slick. He typically reacts stronger and his strikes hit twice as hard if he sees Slick getting a beat down, but is not nearly as hot-headed as the faun is.
