As Youko reached the river, she stopped and looked at a young girl crying. She tilted her head and just stared. As the girl who was crying looked up, she screamed and fell over. She was shooken as she looked at Youko. Youko simply looed back at her. Her cold, lifeless eyes looked into the girls eyes. The young girl stood up. No more tears were in her eyes as she made a ball of water. Within a second, the ball of water became a rope and wraped around Youko. Youko did not move, nor did she say anything as she was being crushed by the rope of water. The young girl was now mad as she tightened her grip on Youko. She looked at her and said, "Who are you?! Speak now or I shall kill you." Youko said nothing to the girls threat. The young girl looked into Youko's eyes and released her rope on Youko and stood there. "Who are you, mistery girl?" Youko stoop up, and, looking at the young girl, spoke for the first time. Her words were soft as she spoke to the girl. "I am Youko. Who might I ask, are you?" The young girl blushed softly and bowed. "I am Xiai. Warrior of the water tribe and daughter of the leader." Youko bowed also as she softly said." It is nice to meet you Xiai. If you do not mind, I shall be on my way. Goodbye, ma'am." She turned and began to walk before Xiai ran up next to her. "May I come with you, Youko?" Youko stopped and looked at her. She softly sighed and then said. "Only if you become my pawn shall I allow you to join me in my journy."Xiai smiled and nodded. "I don't kow what that is, but I'm in!" She laughed and pulled Youko along. Youko could do nothing but smile at her. She was glad Xiai didn't know what a pawn was. ~To be continued..~
