Can you see the rain, that falls so lazily from the skies?
It slowly drizzles down, slowly washes away the lies;
Like a slowly fizzling flame, fading away to dark
Like the light of the day reflecting it so stark
It's the contrast in our life, the distance from white to black
It's the time it always takes me, to want to take it back
Can you see the rain, it's falling quickly from above?
splashing swiftly on the ground, just like I fell in love
It collects over time, till the rain fades away
When the clouds have all dried up, and the sun takes to day
The puddle the was formed, cut from the sky it came
begins to fade away, and leaves me back the same
It's the same storm, that use to make me right
The same familiar sound that put me to sleep at night
The wicked loving rain that I saw inside your gaze
The repetitive drone torment, that I suffer every day
So tell me please, can you see the rain?
It's reflected in your eyes, when I see my own pain.
