She looked around and found herself in a bubble, and Zangul was below her cutting on the tentacle with an axe made of ice. Linyt felt the tentacle weaken, and felt herself falling again, but she knew she was safe now. She spotted the kraken and faced it. She didn’t have much time before it ejected its claws and popped the bubble. She focused on it.
“Acerbus Adstringo!” She shouted and watched the effect of her spell. The darkness started becoming deeper around the kraken until it was completely hidden from view by the veil she had made. At this Linyt forced the moon down back at the shore, pushing the entire ocean up and away from the kraken. The bubble went rocketing up and outwards sending them into the air and popping, landing Zangul and Linyt on the opposite shore.
Zangul got up and faced Linyt with a serious look on his face. “Next time… I drive.” His expression turned to a foolish one.
“You are such a jokester!” Linyt shouted as she got rid of the moon by saying, “Acerbus Abeo.”
Zangul was standing up when Linyt realized that the water had made her clothes transparent.
She pointed at Zangul, “Acerbus Adstringo!” then ran off, hoping he hadn’t noticed her indecency.
