"A Tale of Fog"
Once upon a time Is how they say that it began. Earth had fallen in love with Clouds But the Morning Sky did not let them meet. For he thought the Clouds lovely and only belonging to him Clouds wept in despair as she wished she could touch the earth Earth looked upon the Clouds longing to walk along her side The morning sky in its jealous rage separated both Earth and Clouds reveling in his attainment. Until the Earth in desperation created the mountains trying to reach the clouds But the Clouds were still untouchable Clouds reached out as far as she could but The Morning Sky stirred the wind keeping them apart. Earth walked alone in longing agony but for his love he created the trees and flowers in hopes of bringing joy to her heart. Clouds in response parted to allow the sun to warm the earth. Their love grew beyond measure and soon being apart became too much to bear As night fell Clouds wept in sadness,
The night sky hearing her cries asked, "Why do you cry dear child?"
"The Morning Sky," she sniffed, "He will not allow me to be near my beloved earth, whom I most love."
Her tears fell to the earth and the earth was filled with anguish as he tasted her despondent tears.
"Do not weep child," the Night Sky replied, "Be with your beloved Earth until day breaks. At such time you must raise yourself high into the morning sky and allow the sun to warm the earth as you always have.
The Clouds embraced the Night Sky as his generosity filled her with overwhelming joy.
"My love, my love," the Clouds called out as she made her way down to the earth. Caressing the mountain tops and each beautiful tree and flower he had created just for her. The earth in response wept in his joy releasing the creaks and cascading waterfalls.
From that night forth the Clouds would spread her self thinly around him and kiss her beloved Earth.
