Ok this is my review so far for the new yugioh game on nintendo ds
I enjoy the story mode, I love card games that let you be a character in the story of the anime
Sadly there is one thing that is wrong with this
The AI cheats like a ******** Whore.
Everyone in this game has cards they shouldnt have when you first start in the game your with some group with a psychic deck which honestly was a fairly decent deck, I thought it was your starter deck but it turns out it is not, after you finish what I guess is tutorial mode you start in the dump of the are or slums, so you figure since your in the slums everyone should have beginners decks...no it doesnt matter if your facing a young kid or a old man your going to get counters blocked and run into combo's your slum friends shouldnt be pulling.
and unlike previous games the AI seems to know every move you make
if you put a monster in defense mode that has a higher defense and it's a 5 star or higher, the ai will never attack it unless it knows it can kill it or thinks it can.
if you place a magic or trap card down with two or three other magic and trap cards on the field it will know which one will help you and which wont and take it out most
honestly I enjoy the challange but the ai shouldnt be always knowing whats in my hand whats on my field and what not.
so far I give this game a 4 out of 10
