When I was younger, Summer was a blessing. No school, sun set at 9 PM, I hung out everyday with my friend Peter. Yeah those were the times. Life was made. The Ice Cream Guy gave me free ice cream, I walked in the woods making friends with the trees, swam in the local pool. I'd watch the sun sink below the mountains in the distance at the top of Legate. I loved summer. The nights were filled with endless games of manhunt, bon fires, hot dogs and bar-be-ques, and lazy wandering around Bicentennial. We'd watched the moon and stars move right along until we heard our parents say "Come on in it's ******** 11:30 PM!"and we cry "Only 10 more minutes!" Pete and Mike A my next door neighbors, Emily and Marc S the house dianal from mine, Christina and Camron P across the street, Mareck and Fisher and Christan, their dad with the potato launcher. All of us... we couldn't stand one summer night without each other. Sadly My brother, Mike, Emily, and Christina grew up.... Peter, Marc and camron grew more immature.... I was the middle kid.... Never sure what I'd do, I was a lone from my third grade summer on... I liked spending my summer nights alone, under my porch reading a book with a flashlight until my brother came out and started a bon fire. What I miss most about spending time with the whole crew (all 10 of us) is our bottem of the heart talks. We talked about everything from school to the future. I miss alot from those summers.... Summer is a time for late nights and games, where nothing bad happans, its where you're happy and carefree....
